Wuyin Academy

    Located in the southwest fourth lane of Shabian Central Street, Wuyin Academy was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874). In 2017, Zinan Shabian Village raised 1.8 million yuan by itself to rebuild on the original site of the Wuyin Academy, retaining the architectural layout of the academy in the Qing Dynasty and building components such as corridor columns and granite strips. The whole academy faces east from west, with brick and wood structure, wok ear sealed volcanic wall, strip stone foundation and green brick wall. There are gray sculptures on the ridge representing that the peacock showing its tail, which is auspicious. The building area of the academy is 450 square meters. Wuyin Academy has been repaired the same as before. The positive polio sculptures and murals have been given a completely new look, reproducing the atmosphere and ancient charm of the Wuyin Academy in the past.
